Government and Legal (Do First)

• HMRC — online at gov.uk/personal-tax-account
• DVLA driving licence (mandatory within 1 week; £1,000 fine if not updated)
• DVLA vehicle registration (V5C logbook)
• Electoral roll — re-register at gov.uk/register-to-vote
• NHS — re-register with a local GP and dentist

Financial

• All bank and building society accounts
• All credit cards and store cards
• PayPal, Apple Pay and digital wallets
• Pension provider(s) and investment accounts
• Premium Bonds (NS&I)

Insurance

• Home contents and buildings insurance — update immediately (incorrect address can invalidate your policy)
• Car insurance — incorrect address can void a claim
• Life, health, travel and pet insurance

Don't Forget: Royal Mail Redirection
